Patricio - DoLab / The Space In Between (LA)

Patricio has been forging a style of his own since the first time he stepped behind the turntables in 1992. Sharpening his skills spinning vinyl at small clubs in LA, Patricio’s experience in the early 90’s converted into a profound knowledge of what people want to feel on the dance floor. Drawing on the passion and soul instilled in him growing up in Buenos Aires, Argentina, he has blurred out of all confines of genres. Patricio’s sound has been known to move all over the musical spectrum but ultimately developed into a deep, driving and sometimes even psychedelic side of house and techno, layered with hypnotic melodies and luscious bass lines.

You can also find Patricio bringing his contagious style up and down the west coast and at festivals like Coachella, Lightning in a Bottle, Symbiosis, Electric Daisy Carnival, Minimal Effort, Desert Hearts and becoming to be a regular at one his favorite Los Angeles Underground Parties DEEP.

Sappho - Opal Underground / Koritsi Komma Records

Sappho is a queer musical artist, event producer and co-owner of Koritsi Komma Records based out of Portland, Oregon. Harkening back to the most famous woman poet of antiquity, Sappho’s namesake has a strong connection to lesbian love and lady empowerment. Much like the fabled name that she built her base upon, she has often been the lone female voice amongst a sea of male creatives. With over 20 years of involvement in the dance community, she is a mentor to queers and femmes in the craft of deejaying and a resource of underground nightlife culture. She has been changing the status quo with her deep research, guided by precise, almost librametric, methods, branching into new forms and combinations that weave an intricate modern day poetry for a current generation of souls, freeing them, to dance, to love, to feel - the way only a perfect stanza of poetry could elicit.

Bizio - Less is More

For nearly a decade, Nico Bisio, better known as Bizio has been a driving dance floor force in the pacific northwest. Known for his smooth blends of weaving rich melodies, psychedelic soundscapes, and brain-tickling noises, he serves these sounds on a plate of house music rhythms straight to your ears. And from the ears Bizio always takes the dance floor on a journey with him both inward and outward, as above, so below. “Through the communal nature of dance we find peace and healing in each other, and for a beautiful moment we become one without a care in the world, with the hope we can bring a piece of that euphoria back to our day-to-day.” This philosophy has been the guiding ethos in all endeavors Bizio has embarked on when it comes to dance. In 2016 he and Kacie Nason started Soul Tribe Sundays/Soul Tribe Events in Eugene, Oregon which hosted house music every Sunday till March 2020 at Sessions Music Hall (formerly Hifi), and anyone who participated in those events will tell you the healing occurred every Sunday. Soul Tribe Sundays are now carried on by the Eugene Underground crew as of September 2021 at the same venue because Bizio has relocated back to Portland, Oregon. Bizio most recently has taken up creating music of his own with his most notable releases being in collaboration with his dear friend Luke Mandala on Desert Trax and Merkaba Music. More original music should be expected imminently, until then, he will see you on the dance floor.
