The event starts at 8pm with an interactive discussion with Travis Nelson, Vice President of the Oregon Nurses Association and a member of the DSA and DNC, about the path ahead to implement a single payer healthcare system locally and nationally. Together, we’ll take direct action by calling our legislators. The dance party begins at 9pm and runs well past midnight, with sets from DJ’s Sappho, Deena Bee, Lincoln Up, and Peter Marks on a world class sound system in a nicely lit environment.
